Origami Birds

We grow as we live or is it we live as we grow ?

I chose this theme of growth as a reminder of the community of feelings that we collect and that contribute to who we are.

For this project I was inspired by the origami birds as a center piece for growth. You fold a square paper into a three dimensional shape. Following the rules of origami the paper cannot be cut nor can pieces be attached to it.

We also are shaped by experiences and surroundings.

So, what if we too would give them color and let them fly?

A fine balance between the beauty of holding on and letting go.
